On the Gameplay team during the time of the The Update Aquatic I was in charge of changing the look of the water in the windows 10 and mobile versions. I added in data driven water colors that were biome dependent. Besides this I worked on new mechanics in the bubble columns and with adding new achievements for Xbox Live.

 

After The Update Aquatic was shipped on all platforms I moved onto the newly formed Scripting API team. We were in charge of bringing a scripting API to the windows 10 version of Minecraft to allow for more complex add-ons to be created. We established the entity component framework we wanted to use and began exposing different internal components to scripting. These components included entity behaviors, weather properties, and the different states of blocks.
